Inclusive Curling Festival at the Sheffield Ice Rink
This has to be one of my favourite events: the inclusive curling festival taking place at Sheffield Ice.
Curling is an Olympic sport that is played across the UK; however, it is particularly strong in Scotland, and they have had considerable success over the years. It is a game where you have to push a stone along the ice and work as a team to sweep so that your stone gets close to the target. Our Hub and some selected children from Year 4 took part and had the best time. They had the opportunity to play against children from other schools, and it was lovely to see them interacting; they all had such lovely smiles on their faces. Well done, Team Stocky!
